Music Tuition

I offer personalised, one-to-one tuition for all ages and abilities in pop & musical theatre singing, piano, violin and viola as well as tuition in music theory and support for GCSE/A Level music or equivalent music examinations.

 

Whether you wish to learn as a hobby or work towards music qualifications, my creative use of a variety of learning methods ensure my students develop their all round musicianship and keep engaged, focused, whilst learning and having fun.

 

My lessons include creative music activities, time for my students to reflect and review their own playing. I also encourage all my students to participate in as many performance opportunities as possible including local music competitions, workshops and concerts. From experience, performing and being part of ensembles enhances the students’ musical abilities and helps build confidence.

 

As a teacher, I'm constantly reviewing my practice, continually developing my education through diploma qualifications, exams and courses such as Jessie’s Fund: Making music with special needs children to stay updated with the latest teaching methods and ensure more people have access and opportunity to learn music.
